Introduction

With the new Premier League season hot on the heels of last season’s Championship Playoff triumph, Huddersfield Town required a new brand identity to match their newly acquired Premier League status and showcase their ‘Terrier Spirit’!

In partnership with integrated marketing agency Fantastic Media, the perfect team was created to ensure Huddersfield Town kick-off their new season in style!

The Solution

In addition to the club’s new identity, Huddersfield Town wanted to create a wow-factor for supporters and visitors who stepped into the Premier League facilities. Leach’s high-quality fabric graphics and ultra-bright, LED illuminated lightboxes provides the perfect solution! A total of six lightboxes were designed and manufactured by Leach for the club’s main reception area, including three bespoke curved lightboxes - to make a striking first impression!

The visual impact is not the only advantage when it comes to the lightboxes, each one is fitted with a high-quality, interchangeable fabric graphic. This means that after initial installation, internal staff can change the graphic quickly and easily, with no tools required.

A challenge for Huddersfield Town and its venue was to have the ability to switch between its three brands – The Terriers (football club), The Giants (rugby club) and KDSL (events) -  without losing any of its wow-factor or quality. Therefore, the flexibility of the lightboxes and graphic content was a key component for Huddersfield Town and its brands, which would all now benefit from the premier look and style.

The Results

The reception area at Huddersfield Town Football Club has now been transformed and showcases the club’s brands in leading lights.

Graphics can be updated and changed quickly and easily within minutes, so that the venue can have maximum impact on match day and beyond.
